Thawab is operated by a US-registered company that delivers charitable projects on behalf of donors. Gifts are not tax-deductible and we do not issue tax receipts.
Every project is documented. Once it is complete you receive photos, video where possible, and a short written report — often with GPS coordinates or the name of the school, village or family.
Food and Qur'an distributions are usually completed within a few weeks. Wells take longer — typically one to three months depending on drilling conditions. Qurbani is performed within the appointed days or, for year-round orders, within two weeks.
You can give in USD, EUR, GBP, CAD, AUD, NZD or MXN. Your card is charged in the currency you select at checkout.
Yes. Orphan sponsorship is monthly by default, and most other projects can be set to a recurring monthly gift. You can pause or cancel at any time from your account.
Yes. During checkout you can add a name for a sadaqah jariyah — for a parent, a relative who has passed, or as a gift to someone living.
